Jessie Edwards-Thomas Gives Talk at Glynn Vivian Art Gallery: Out of Sight & Out of Mind

On Friday 27 February 2026 at the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery in Swansea, Jessie Edwards-Thomas discussed her most recent body of work, Out of Sight & Out of Mind. The work reflects not only on the systemic issues of motherhood and visibility, but her own personal experiences of becoming a mother in recent years.

Out of Sight & Out of Mind, layers and dissects archives, the forgotten stories of mothers gone by and takes a scalpel to our comforting lullabies; to take note of where our sense of care and love may take us tomorrow.
