Morwenna Peters Presents at ARCLIB Conference: So, You Want To Teach With Materials?

VAMP member, Morwenna Peters, together with co-researchers Fiona Dowling (Technical Team Leader Fabrication, UWE) and Billie Coxhead (Materials and Products Co-Ordinator, UAL), were invited to open the ARCLIB (Architecture Librarians) annual conference in July 2025.

They ran a practical workshop introducing their research project, So, you want to teach with materials? Developing materials literacy using object-based learning. Inviting the delegates (which included UK and international library staff supporting architecture and design courses) to explore objects and materials and use the activity cards developed as part of the project (funded by Art Libraries Society UK & Ireland), they considered how they could apply and adapt the ideas into their own teaching.
